Pre-season: Arsenal beats Barcelona 5-3

With a 5-3 victory over Barcelona on Thursday, Arsenal completed their preseason tour of the US.

The Gunners were seeking redemption after losing to Manchester United by the score of 2-0 in the Premier League.

But they initially gave in to a Robert Lewandowski goal.

Bukayo Saka quickly restored parity before failing to convert a penalty kick to give the Gunners the lead.

Raphinha’s deflected free kick gave Barca a 2-1 lead, but Kai Havertz ensured that the score remained equal going into halftime.

Before Ferran Torres pulled one back, Leandro Trossard seized a brace.

However, Fabio Vieira’s magnificent long-range goal gave Los Angeles the victory.
