President Bola Tinubu has nominated 28 people to be ministers, as announced by Nigeria’s Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Nigerians had to wait a long time before Tinubu’s ministerial list was given to the Senate on Thursday afternoon by Femi Gbajabiamila, the President’s Chief of Staff.
At precisely 01:19 PM, Gbajabiamila, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, handed the list to Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate.
On Thursday afternoon, Nyesom Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, read President Bola Tinubu’s list of cabinet members on the Senate floor.
Dave Umahi, a former governor of Ebonyi State, and Dele Alaka, a spokesperson for the president, were also included.
After that, Akpabio read the 28-name ministerial list.
