John Mikel Obi, a former captain of the Super Eagles, has dispelled rumors of a long-running feud between him and the late musician 2face Idibia, also known as 2baba.
According to reports, Mikel Obi allegedly disregarded 2baba in a London nightclub in 2006.
The singer released the song “Only me” a few years later, and many fans felt it was in reference to the purported conflict.
Mikel Obi has now asserted that the event never took place.
The ex-Chelsea midfielder affirmed that he admires 2baba and would never treat him disrespectfully.
