The appointment of Ahmed Galadima Aminu as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund for a term of four years was authorized by President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday.
Following the resignation of former Executive Secretary and CEO Bello Aliyu Gusau, he was appointed.
Gusau will start a 90-day pre-retirement leave on September 26, 2023, according to the president.
His appointment follows that of the departing Executive Secretary/CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, who will take a 90-day pre-retirement leave starting on September 26, 2023, according to a statement issued by the president’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.
Aminu most recently worked at PTDF as the general manager of the department responsible for education and training.
Aminu will serve in an acting capacity up to December 26, 2023, when the president will begin his four years in office.
