Arteta backs Kai Havertz after MLS All Stars criticizm

The manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, has emphasized the several strengths Kai Havertz would offer to his team the following year.

Havertz moved to the Gunners this summer in a £65 million deal from London rival Chelsea.

Arsenal destroyed the MLS All Stars 5-0 in Washington, with the German scoring the game-winning goal.

It happened the day after Havertz faced online ridicule for a subpar showing in the MLS All-Stars Skills Challenge.

However, Arteta stated to Apple TV: “With his quality and size, Havertz brings us something really unusual. sometimes you need to use him as a target man to beat the press, for instance.

“So, we’ll see. He’s now playing in the attacking-midfield position, but I’m sure we’ll have the option to play him in different positions during the season and throughout games as well.
