Prior to the hearing of the appeals brought by Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, and Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party, against President Bola Tinubu, some APC leaders have gathered at the Supreme Court.
Femi Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff for Tinubu, Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the APC, and Nuhu Ribadu, the NSA, are among the dignitaries present in court.
Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election on February 25th was upheld in the Presidential Election Petition Court’s (PEPC) ruling, which Atiku is contesting.
The applications submitted by Obi and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), both of which are contesting the PEPC’s ruling, will also be heard by the top court.
Justice Inyang Okorowo is the chair of the justices’ panel that is hearing the appeals.
