Atiku, Obi vs Tinubu: Tight security as Supreme Court begins hearing of petitions

As hearings in the three lawsuits contesting the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu begin, the Supreme Court is being carefully guarded.
Unlicensed lawyers and litigants were barred from the court by heavily armed security guards.
Our source noticed that those who don’t play a direct role are being turned away starting at the main entrance of the supreme court.
The courtroom was only open to attorneys for Tinubu, led by Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN, Atiku Abubakar, led by Chris Uche SAN, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), led by Abubakar Mahmoud.
Femi Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff to the president, Nuhu Ribadu, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Senator Bashir Ajibola, and five other people had already taken their places in the courtroom at the time this article was written.
Because the names of the panel members who would hear the petitions had not yet been confirmed, anxiety was also growing in the courtroom.
