Attack on Apostle Suleiman:  Suspect makes shocking confession

Yusuf Ismael Isah, a suspect who was detained in connection with the attack on Apostle Johnson Suleman’s convoy, has admitted to the crime.

The suspect, who was among other alleged criminal elements displayed at the Force Headquarters on Thursday, said that the popular man of God was the target of the attack.

The Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide founder Suleman’s motorcade was attacked on October 21, 2022, on Benin-Auchi Road, according to the DAILY POST.

At least six people, including three police officers, were killed in the heinous assault.

The suspect, however, stated that he was unaware of the assassination attempt’s planner.

He said, “The attack on him (Suleman) was to assassinate him. I was not part of the discussion; Ilayasu and Labisca were the ones involved in the discussion.

“We attacked him with five AK 47 rifles. Labisca trailed him from where he was coming from to the point where we attacked him.”
