BREAKING: Bandits invade military camp, loot homes, destroy vehicles, others in Katsina
However, the criminals took advantage of the situation to attack the town of Nahuta, robbing several stores, breaking into homes, and taking millions of naira's worth of property and household animals.
In Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina, a combined military camp near Nahuta village was attacked by a bandit gang carrying sophisticated weapons, including AK-47 rifles.
This media was informed on Monday by a camp-affiliated security source that the attack happened on Sunday about 11:30 p.m. During the attack, the thugs wrecked cars and a few valuables.
The insider clarified that despite the fact that the bandits outnumbered them, the camp’s staff managed to repel the attack without losing any lives.
“There was no reinforcement throughout the encounter, so the bandits outnumbered us and invaded the camp, setting our vehicles and property on fire,” he continued.
But the thugs took advantage of the opportunity to storm Nahuta town, looting properties and household animals valued at millions of naira, smashing into houses, and robbing a few stores.
However, security services had not yet released an official statement regarding the most recent bandit attack in the state of North Western Australia at the time of this story.
One of the states in the area that is impacted by the actions of bandits and kidnappers is Katsina.
