BREAKING: Delta: Appeal Court overrules Tribunal judgment, upholds LP’s Okolie victory
The National and State House of Assembly Election Tribunal’s decision in Asaba, Delta State, has been overturned by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Platinum Times recounts that the tribunal declared Ndudi Elumelu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, as the winner of the 2023 election for Delta State’s Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

However, in a judgement issued on Thursday, the appellate court confirmed Ngozi Okolie, candidate of the Labour Party (LP), as the validly elected lawmaker.
