His Royal Majesty, Joseph Chike Edozien, the traditional king of Asaba, Delta’s capital, has died, according to reports.
Edozien, the 13th Asagba of Asaba, died on Wednesday, just a month after turning 100.
According to PM news, news of the monarch’s death spread over Asaba on Wednesday night, with citizens calling his passing as a big loss for the entire Asaba kingdom.
At the time of this story, the palace had yet to publicly proclaim the death of the adored monarch.
