The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an arrest warrant for Edison Ehie, the Chief of Staff to Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, in connection with the suspected burning of the State House of Assembly.
Ehie is also the immediate previous Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Justice Emeka Nwite ordered Ehie and five other Port Harcourt residents to be arrested for allegedly engaging in illegal activity.

On Wednesday, Justice Nwite issued an order for their arrest while ruling on an ex-parte plea filed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
