The Peoples Democratic Party and its governorship candidate in Benue, Titus Uba, had their appeal dismissed by the Supreme Court on Monday.
The governorship election petition tribunal and the court of appeals in Abuja confirmed Hyacinth Alia’s election as governor of Benue state.
Uba sought remedies from the Supreme Court after being dissatisfied with the verdicts.
