On Sunday, the team met with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
During the meeting, the Federal Government reaffirmed its commitment to speed the deployment of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses in order to ease the difficulties that the public is experiencing as a result of the removal of the PMS subsidy.
In addition, the government promised support for micro and small-scale businesses, as well as a six-month VAT exemption for diesel.
Furthermore, the Federal Government stated its intention to begin payments of N75,000 to 15 million households during a three-month period from October to December 2023, at a monthly rate of N25,000.
