The Ondo State House of Assembly has been instructed by President Bola Tinubu to transfer power to the Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
According to reports, Tinubu revealed this during a Monday meeting he called to address the leadership crisis in Ondo.

The President underlined that as this transfer is compliant with the “Doctrine of Necessity,” it should be carried out without any restrictions.
The country was informed that the sick governor would not be able to sign any documents, so the transfer of power will take place via electronic signatures, or e-signature.
