On Friday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar submitted certified copies of President Bola Tinubu academic and professional records.
The credentials include a B.Sc. certificate from Chicago State University, a certificate of discharge from the NYSC, and a certificate of service from Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc.
By way of its subpoenaed witness, Mike Enahoro Ebah Esq., the PDP had presented the documents. Enahoro stated that although the documents contained the name “Bola Adekunle Tinubu,” they were “purportedly” those of Tinubu.
Led in evidence by PDP counsel, Chris Uche (SAN), the witness also tendered forms EC13 and EC9 nomination forms and the letters written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as attachments.
Counsel to INEC, Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN); Tinubu, Emmanuel Ukala (SAN) and the APC, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) all objected to the admissibility of the documents.
The defence lawyers are set to cross examine the witness.
