BREAKING: Tribunal declares PDP’s Natasha Akpoti winner of Kogi Central Senatorial election
Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has been declared the winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial election that took place on February 25 by the Kogi state election petition tribunal.
In his decision on Wednesday, the tribunal’s chair, Justice K.A. Orjiakoin, stated that Uduaghan received 54,064 votes, beating out Sadiku-Ohere, who received 51,291 votes.
He mandated Ohere to pay Akpoti-Uduaghan the sun of N500,000 to cover the petition’s expenses.
