Buhari’s minister Farouq to return to EFCC Tuesday after being released on Monday night

Sadiya Umar-Farouq, the embattled former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, went home on Monday night following hours of questioning by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives.

She is set to return on Tuesday to clarify various issues raised by the anti-graft agency during its preliminary investigations.

According to Platinum Times earlier report, the former Minister presented herself for inquiry at the EFCC headquarters on Monday.

Farouq is under investigation for allegedly laundering N37,170,855,753.44.
