Our correspondant learnt that the arrest was connected to a post on her Facebook page, criticising Governor Sani.
Aisha Galadima, a staunch political supporter of former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) for reportedly criticizing Governor Uba Sani on social media.
This media learnt that the arrest was connected to a post on her Facebook page, criticising Governor Sani.
Aisha was said to have been picked up by DSS operatives from her residence on Sunday afternoon at Tudun Wada.
SaharaReporters gathered that Aisha had been criticising the governor over some of his policies on her Facebook page.
A source who spoke to SaharaReporters on the development, said, “Aisha has just been arrested by DSS at her Tudun Wada residence in Kaduna.”
Governor Uba Sani recently lamented the huge debt burden of $587 million, N85 billion and N115 billion contractual liabilities he inherited from the previous administration in the state which he said had taken a toll on his government.
El-Rufai, who handed over to Sani, governed the state for eight years.
