Elon Musk makes announcement of Twitter Logo change 

On Sunday, Elon Musk declared that he wanted to alter Twitter’s logo.

The CEO of the microblogging platform said on his verified Twitter account, “And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”

 

 

He further revealed that the current ‘bird’ logo may be replaced with the letter ‘X’. In a series of tweets, Musk wrote, “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we will make go live worldwide tomorrow.”

 

The new logo was chosen, according to the software entrepreneur, “to embody the imperfections in us all that make us unique.”

Musk also provided a brief preview of the new logo’s design. Musk released a three-second video that he had shared:
