Finidi George, the head coach of Enyimba, has admitted that his club needs time off before the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier League season.
The defending NPL winners were eliminated from their Naija Super Eight preseason event without a victory.
Enyimba earned one point from three games and placed last in Group A.
On Tuesday, the Aba giants were defeated 2-1 by Katsina United.

Finidi emphasized that the downtime will enable his team members recharge for the upcoming campaign.
