The Federal Executive Council approved the N27.5 trillion appropriation bill for 2024 to be submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday.
The Council is the federal government’s highest policy-making body, and it is composed of ministers, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the national security adviser, and several top government officials, including permanent secretaries.
