Fed Govt declares May 1st as public holiday to mark Workers Day celebration

The Federal Government has declared Monday, May 1 as a public holiday to mark this year’s Workers Day Celebration.

This was announced by Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-ojo on Tuesday.

Tunji-Ojo commended workers for their hard work, diligence, and sacrifice.

The minister also urged Nigerians to remain committed to the present administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda as he wished workers a happy day celebration.
