Former Kebbi Council Chairman regains freedom after 3 weeks in kidnappers den
Hon. Hassan Garba Warra, the former chairman of Kebbi State’s Ngaski Local Government Area, has been liberated from the bandits who kidnapped him three weeks ago.
Warra was kidnapped on his route to Abuja along the Tegina-Zuggeru highway in Niger state.
According to sources, Hon. Hassan Garba Warra was traveling with his personal vehicle and driver until he decided to join a commercial vehicle and asked his driver to return home.
According to reports, bandits attacked the commercial truck Warra and other passengers aboard and marched them into the jungle.
However, Warra was seen on Friday in Kotagora, Niger state, with two of his relatives who were transporting him back to be reunited with his family after being released by the bandits.
Warra indicated in a brief conversation that he couldn’t say anything until he had fully settled down.
