Fuel Price Hike: Tinubu support group beg Nigerians for patience, understanding

Under the banner of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s supporters have pleaded with Nigerians to maintain their composure despite the suffering caused by the elimination of fuel subsidies.

Sen. Adedayo Adeyeye, the organization’s national chairman, issued the call in a statement that he personally signed and made accessible to journalists in Abuja on Sunday.

He said that the choice made by the president should have been carried out by subsequent administrations over the course of the previous 15 years, which is why the difficulty was so great.

“If President Bola Tinubu has not taken those steps, it could have led to a complete crash of the Nigerian economy with its attendant social, economic and political implications.

“The pains we are currently going through will soon go and by this time next year by the grace of God, Nigerians would begin to see the results of the steps that the president has taken,” Adeyeye added.
