Gov Abba Yusuf forwards kwankwaso’s ex commissioner, 18 other nominees to Kano assembly

Kano State’s governor, Abba Yusuf, has submitted a list of 19 nominees who will serve alongside him as commissioners to oversee the administration’s operations.

Tuesday during the session, as he was reading the governor’s letter of request, State Assembly Speaker Yusuf Falgore disclosed the information.

Among the 19 candidates put forth by the governor is Baba Halilu Dantiye, the former president of the Nigeria Guild of Editors.

Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam, Hon. Umar Doguwa, Hon. Ali Haruna Makoda, Hon. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, Hon. Danjuma Mahmoud, Hon. Musa Shanono, Hon. Abbas Sani Abbas, Haj. Aisha Saji, and others are among the nominees sent to the Assembly.

Haj. Ladidi Garko, Dr. Marwan Ahmad, Engr. Muhd Diggol, Hon. Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, and Dr. Yusuf Kofar Mata are some of the others. Also present are Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo, Hon. Haruna Isa Dederi, and Hon. Baba Halilu Dantiye.

The candidates were urged to show up in front of the Assembly by 10 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) for screening.
