Popular native doctor from the Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State has been abducted.
The native physician, also known as Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki, was reportedly abducted last night from his accommodation in the Oba village.
According to a source who spoke to Platinum Times Nigeria, the man, who is considered as one of the most powerful witch doctors in Anambra, was easily kidnapped in his Triple O Hotel and two of his personal assistants were shot dead.
Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki is also recognized as the wealthiest witch doctor in Anambra.
He had constructed and opened two hotels in 2022, which were among the largest in Oba, the hometown of well-known businessman Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana.
According to a source who spoke to Platinum Times Nigeria, Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki na Oba was taken last night in his Triple P Hotel.
“Two of his securities men were shot dead. Where is Nwa Ocha & Odeshi?”
The ease of his abduction has put a question mark on his rumoured strength, as many people are reported to flock his mansion in Oba for anti-bullet charms and other money rituals.
He has also boasted severally about how powerful he was.
Meanwhile, police authorities in the state have confirmed his kidnap.
Police spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga said the incident happened around 11:30pm last night.
“CP Aderemi Adeoye has ordered that operatives go after his abductors and ensure his release,” he said.
