Hilda Baci break silence on Chef Alan Fisher over new longest cooking marathon record

Chef Alan Fisher, an Irish chef, has been praised by Chef Hilda Baci for setting a new record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

On Tuesday, the Guinness World Records revealed that Irish chef Fisher worked at his Japanese restaurant for 119 hours and 57 minutes.

Baci, the previous record holder, praised Alan on Fisher’s X account on Tuesday in response to her victory.

She wrote,

“Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!”

With an incredible time of 119 hours and 57 minutes, Alan set a new record for the longest cooking marathon (individual).

This accomplishment beat the previous record, which was held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, by more than twenty-four hours.

Furthermore, Alan won the title of longest individual baking marathon with a time of 47 hours and 21 minutes, beating the previous record of 31 hours and 16 minutes held by Wendy Sandner of the USA.

Alan undertook the two record-breaking attempts one after the other, logging almost 160 hours in the kitchen with just a day’s respite in between.
