According to British broadcaster Piers Morgan, Lionel Messi wasn’t deserving of the 2023 Ballon d’Or.
Morgan maintained that the award process was manipulated in a post on his X account on Tuesday.
Erling Haaland, the striker for Manchester City, ought to have accepted the award in his opinion.

“He should have won 2 fewer, @Cristiano should have won 2 more, and Haaland should have won this year. End,” Morgan wrote.
