Following her social media spat with artist Davido, Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner Josephine Otabor, also known as Phyna, has reported that she has been receiving death threats.
According to Platinum Times, Phyna and Davido got into a social media argument on Wednesday when the musician liked a tweet criticizing the reality star.
Phyna asked the singer on her X page what she had done wrong to merit the criticism.
In response to Phyna’s tweet, Davido stated that he was unaware of the person and that his response was an honest error.
Their fans were torn split by Davido’s response; while his supporters praised him for “humiliating clout chasing” Phyna, her supporters chastised him for denying the reality star who had won the Big Brother Naija reality TV competition in 2022.
Phyna asserted on Thursday that she had received multiple death threats as a result of her online altercation with Davido.
On her X handle, she wrote,
“I keep getting death threats oh. I’m not an artiste, make una nor kill me oh.
“Everybody na 001 for e lane oh. God nor be man.”
