Just In: CSU obeys Court order, releases Tinubu’s academic records to Atiku (photo)

The Chicago State University, CSU, has released President Bola Tinubu’s school credentials to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential contender Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku won in court in his legal battle to investigate Tinubu’s academic qualifications for the February 25 presidential election.

Tinubu had provided the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, with certificates from Chicago State University, CSU, to ensure his eligibility to vote in the election.

On Saturday, a judge in the United States of America ordered CSU to reveal Tinubu’s academic records for verification and in support of Atiku’s petition challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

In a decision, Justice Nancy Maldonado disregarded Tinubu’s opposition to Atiku’s request and explicitly ordered that the CSU deliver the academic records to Atiku.

And the school complied with the court order, disclosing the materials on Monday evening.
