Just In: Tinubu receives Wike, Heineken Lokpobiri in Aso Villa

Nyesom Wike, the newly appointed minister of the FCT, and Heineken Lokpobiri, the newly appointed minister of state for petroleum, paid President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a visit on Friday in Abuja.
For the first time since the development, Lokpobiri, who was recently assigned to the petroleum ministry, visited the Nigerian president.
The duo reviewed Tinubu’s vision and initiatives for a more productive petroleum sector.
After the meeting, he expressed his satisfaction with what he called Tinubu’s “proactive thinking” for his attempts to build the country’s economic foundation with the aim of boosting the economy.
He promised to offer the best of service, in support of President Tinubu’s developmental initiatives in the sector, vowing to hit the ground running.
Nyesom Wike, who is the FCT Minister-designate, was also on the ground for the meeting.
