Just In: Tobi Amusan breaks another record, wins 100 metres Stockholm Diamond League hurdles
Tobi Amusan of Nigeria won the women’s 100-meter hurdles event at the Stockholm Diamond League with a time of 12.52 seconds.
She outperformed Pia Skrzyszowska (12.78s), who came in third, and Sarah Lavin (12.73s), who finished in second place and a lifetime best.
Tobi placed second in the 100-meter hurdles race on Friday at the Lausanne Diamond League.
Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico won the competition with a timing of 12.40 seconds.
Amusan finished in 12.47 seconds, matching her season’s best time.
Tia Jones finished in third place with a timing of 12.51 seconds.
Amusan, who placed third at the continental tour competition in Ostra on Tuesday behind Camacho-Quinn and Tia, made a small improvement.
