House staff at General Hospital, Odan, Lagos, started a protest on Wednesday in response to the death of Doctor Ovwaere Diaso, a colleague, in an elevator mishap.
The elevator the young doctor had traveled to get her meal from a vendor plummeted from the 10th level on Tuesday, August 1 and killed her.
In a video shared on Twitter by Omolyawoli, House officers could be seen marching outside the hospital building with placards that carry messages such as, “It could have been me and “The system is rigged against young doctors,” while they chanted: “All we are saying, give us justice.”
