LP’s Loretta Oduware joins Edo 2024 guber race

Dr Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, a female Edo 2024 governorship candidate, has called for women’s participation in partisan politics.

Loretta, who is running for governor of the state on the Labour Party ticket, noted that many Nigerian women were left out during election season.

According to the candidate, it is past time for women to assume their rightful role in politics.

Oduware Ogboro-Okor revealed this shortly after announcing her intention to run for governor of Edo in 2024 at the LP secretariat in Benin on Monday.

“A lot of women are always at the back door, it is time we took our place in the political space; we have to be at the table, so that we can shake it.

“We thank all our fathers who are standing with us to bring light to the state, we are happy that our fathers are ready to support us,” she said.
