Man United’s flight ahead of Newcastle clash cancelled

Manchester United’s flight to Newcastle on Saturday was canceled due to inclement weather.

Instead, the Red Devils will endure a three-hour train ride to their match.

United head to Tyneside looking to rebound from their midweek 3-3 draw with Galatasaray.

The players had arrived at Manchester Airport around 10 a.m. to drop off their automobiles, but were informed that they would be heading to the North East.

Manchester’s temperature fell below -5 degrees Celsius overnight.

The Met Office issued another yellow snow and ice warning on Saturday morning.

Due to the frigid conditions, at least nine football matches in the Scottish leagues have been postponed.
