Manchester United makes final decision on Sancho
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United may terminate Jadon Sancho’s contract.
This could happen as a result of incoming minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s new culture and recruitment approach.
Ratcliffe’s INEOS group will prioritize the building of a more positive workplace culture and will be more ruthless in finding departure ways for players who do not fit with the club’s ethos.
United would rather terminate such players’ contracts than hold out for transfer value.
United have suffered in this area recently, with Sancho’s exile coming months after the long-running Mason Greenwood affair.
INEOS and Ratcliffe are great fans of how Arsenal has changed their sporting culture in recent seasons by canceling contracts for Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Nicolas Pepe.
