Ministerial List: Tinubu bows to pressure, drops nominee, picks Kayemo and one other

Maryam Shetty, a ministerial nominee, has been replaced by Festus Keyamo and Dr. Maigari Mahmud by President Bola Tinubu.

This was made known at Friday’s plenary session of the Senate when Senate President Godswill Akpabio read a letter from the President.

Platinum Times Nigeria had earlier reported on Wednesday that President Bola Tinubu had sent 19 additional cabinet to the  Senate for scrutiny.

Former governors Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, and Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi were included on the new list.

Others include Zaphaniah Jisalo, Aliyu Abdullahi, Heineken Lokpobori, Bosun Tijani, Maryam Shetty, Isiak Salako, Tunji Alausa, Yusuf Sununu, Ibrahim Geidam, Lola John, Shuaibu Audu, Tahir Mamman, Aliyu Abdullahi, Alkali Saidu, and Yusuf Sununu.
