Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, passed away, and Nigerian singer Portable Omolalomi has claimed that betrayal was to blame.
Mohbad, according to Portable, was murdered by Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records, adversaries.
In his most recent video, Portable claimed that Marlian Music had raised and supported Mohbad, but that he later turned his back on them.
He claimed that Mohbad left the label and joined Naira Marley’s enemies after accusing them of not loving him.
Mohbad’s relationship with these adversaries, in Portable’s opinion, ultimately caused his premature demise. He asserted that Naira Marley was to be blamed for Mohbad’s murder.
“Mohbad was killed because he was a betrayer. We help these young artists and make them blow but they repay us with evil. After everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he later said they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to associate with the enemies of Naira Marley.
“Those ones then killed him to implicate Naira. God will save Naira from this mess because he only helped Mohbad out of a good heart but he betrayed him.”
