Niger Commissioner pledge security restoration

Alh. Muhammad Abdullahi Bello, the Niger State Commissioner for Homeland Security, has expressed the state government’s commitment to finding a long-term solution to the security issues in the impacted areas.

When the commissioner returned to work at the ministry’s Minna headquarters, he disclosed the information.

He explained that in order to preserve peace in areas of the state experiencing security challenges, the Ministry would uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in conformity with best practices around the world.

“I therefore enjoined staff to support the present administration’s commitment in fashioning out strategies that would bring lasting solution to the security challenges and also forestall any breach of security in the state.

“Therefore all hands should be on deck to impact positively on the people,” he said.

He urged the workers to be more dedicated in carrying out their duties in order to meet the goals they had been given: protecting the lives and property of residents and advancing the state.

Bello urged them to set an example for service delivery, good governance, and efficiency in their workplaces, claiming that “these would go a long way in adding value to what the present administration is doing in repositioning Service for optimal performance.”
