Nigeria slips in latest FIFA rankings

According to Platinum Times, Nigeria’s Super Eagles slipped a spot in the current monthly FIFA rankings issued on Thursday.

Jose Peseiro’s team thrashed Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 in their last match, however the victory had no effect on their ranking.

The Super Eagles, on the other hand, remained sixth in Africa.

Morocco’s Carthage Eagles remain the continent’s top-ranked team.

The North Africans are followed by Senegal’s Terangha Lions, Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles, Algeria’s Desert Foxes, and Egypt’s Pharaohs.

Argentina, the reigning world champion, remained atop the rankings.

The top five teams in the world are France, Brazil, England, and Belgium.
