Obey NPFL sanctions – Katsina United tell fans

Katsina United has asked their fans to avoid the Muhammed Dikko Stadium for their match against Rivers United on Sunday.

The Chanji Boys made the request in a press release signed by Alhaji Kabir Dan’lami, the club’s chairman.

Dan’lami asked supporters to show maturity and sportsmanship by remaining law-abiding people in order to help the development of football in the state.

He also begged with security personnel who travel to the stadium without uniforms to stop since no one else will be allowed in save those on duty.

Katsina United were fined N1 million and told to play their next home game behind closed doors for their fans’ disruptive behavior in the matchday five affair against Sunshine Stars, according to Platinum Times.

This season, the Nigeria Premier Football League has sanctioned clubs for crowd violence.
