One confirmed dead as fire razes oil depot in Kano

A fire broke out in an engine oil warehouse in Kano, killing one person.
The scorching fire also damaged many of the facility’s structures. The depot is located along the Hotoro Eastern Bypass.
Firefighters from the state fire department rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire as residents fled for safety.
According to an eyewitness, the fire started after an oil tanker laden with oil arrived at the site.
As of the time of reporting this article, details about the extent of the fire’s damage were hazy.
