The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a vigilante, Peter Joseph, and a prince, Yakubu Ahmadu, for allegedly raping two youngsters.
According to the command, Peter, 35, of Sangere Futy in Girei Local Government Area, and Yakubu Ahmadu, 25, of Koleni in Mayo Belwa LGA, confessed to the crime.
The vigilante, a father of five children from Wula in Madagali LGA, claimed he raped a maize hawker twice.
Ahmadu, the son of a ward leader who was detained on October 2, 2023, confessed voluntarily to raping a 13-year-old girl in the community.
