Requirements, guidelines to apply for Police Academy admission into 10th Cadet Degree programmes

The Nigerian Police Force announced on Monday that the Police Academy’s 10th Cadet Degree Program’s admission process has begun.
In a statement, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer, invited qualified Nigerians to begin applying for admission online on Monday, July 24.
The PRO announced that the six-week online registration session will take place from July 24 to September 3 of 2023.
Providing “both male and female Nigerians of good character the opportunity to serve the fatherland,” he said, was the program’s stated goal.
The announcement advised qualified and interested candidates to register on the Academy’s website at https://www.polac.edu.ng.
Requirements
The prerequisites are:
i). Have a National Identity Number (NIN), a JAMB result (2023 only) with at least 180 points, and you must have chosen Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as your top choice on the JAMB application.

(ii). possess at least 6 credits in no more than 2 sittings of WAEC/NECO, or its equivalent, with credit passes in English and Mathematics.
iii) by October 31, 2023, be between the ages of 17 and 21.
iv) Be in good physical, mental, and medical health, and must stand at least 1.67 meters tall for men and 1.64 meters tall for women.
v) Have an enlarged chest measurement of at least 86 cm (34 inches) in men only.
vi) Not be pregnant or married at the time of admission
vii) Possess a working phone number and email account.
Statements of Results or certificates for the SSCE (WAEC/NECO) issued prior to 2019 will not be accepted.
The Nigerian police continued,
“The application process is virtual. Visit the academy’s website at https://polac.edu.ng to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code, which will be used to pay the non-refundable application fee of Three Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria.
This advice is given to all interested applicants who meet the aforementioned requirements.
Applicants must fill out a form and upload scanned copies of their SSCE results, birth certificate, and state of origin certificate after making a successful payments.
