Tinubu constitutes FERMA board, appoints Ibrahim Imam Chairman

In compliance with Section 2(3) of the FERMA Amendment Act of 2007, President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the nomination of the 11-member Governing Board and Management team of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) for a four-year term that is renewable.

The President, in a release issued  Friday by his Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, listed the new appointees to include Chairman of FERMA Board — Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam; Managing Director of FERMA —  Chukwuemeka Agbasi; Member (NARTO) — Yusuf Lawal Othman; Member (FMW) —  Ibi Terna Manasseh; Member (FRSC) — ACM Shehu Mohammed; Member (Finance) — Babatunde Daramola-Oniru and Member (South-South) — Hon. Preye Oseke.

Others are Member (South-West) — Hon. Oye Ojobe; Member (South-East) — Dr. Kenneth Ugbala; Member (North-Central) — Senator Timothy Adudu; Member (North-East) — Abubakar Bappa and Member (North-West) — Aminu Adamu Papa.

The son of Kashim Imam, who is 24 years old, has a master’s degree in engineering business management and a top-notch bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Given the institution’s crucial role in the nationwide sustainability of growth-enabling infrastructure, President Tinubu anticipates the newly appointed individuals to offer services with integrity and competence.
