Tinubu focused on addressing insecurity, hardship in Nigeria: Gbajabiamila

President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, stated on Saturday that the president’s primary concern is solving the insecurity and economic misery that Nigerians face.

Gbajabiamila stated that the removal of gasoline subsidies is a must-have component of Tinubu’s reforms, and that the advantage will be realized shortly.

The former congressman made the announcement to press after voting in the House of Representatives by-election at Polling Unit 014, Ward 08, at Elizabeth Fowler Memorial School in Lagos State’s Surulere district.

He said the President

“has no other thing on his mind than how to address the issue of insecurity and economic hardship.”

According to him:

“Tinubu has his gaze fixed on solving the problems. He met a lot on ground; we’ve had these issues for years, and I think we have somebody who would address those issues and address them well.”

Gbajabiamila relinquished his seat at the House of Assembly after Tinubu picked him as his Chief of Staff.

He was the Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2019 and 2023 and won his re-election into the House for the sixth consecutive term to represent the Surulere 1 federal constituency during the February 25, 2023, National Assembly election.
