To succeed in war against terrorism, there must be synergy among security agencies – MNJTF chief
According to Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, the new Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF, strong cooperation and synergy among heads of security agencies would result in the total annihilation of criminals and terrorists in the affected areas.
The military public information officer in N’djamena, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, released a statement that said this.
According to the statement, Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali, the commander of the MNJTF, expressed gratitude to the Chadian Armed Forces for their support and made a plea for increased cooperation to help the MNJTF carry out its mission.
When he paid his first visit to General Abakar Abdelkarim Daoud, the Chief of General Staff of Chad, at his office, he made this statement in appreciation of General Daoud’s leadership and ongoing assistance in ensuring the MNJTF’s success.
He claimed that by working together and cooperating, the member nations could effectively counter terrorist activities and maintain peace and stability in the Lake Chad basin.
In order to effectively confront the common enemy, the Force Commander emphasized the necessity for additional support from member nations, especially Chad, in terms of intelligence-sharing, people, and resources.
General Daoud responded by assuring the Force Commander and the MNJTF of the Chadian Armed Forces’ preparedness to offer ongoing support and assistance in order to accomplish the mission’s objectives.
He reaffirmed the dedication of the Chadian military forces to the MNJTF’s success while highlighting Chad’s unique responsibilities as the mission’s host nation.
