Two hospitalised, hundreds displaced as house with over 800 rooms collapses in Lagos
At least two people are fighting for their lives in a private hospital after a school-turned-residential structure in Ketu Lagos neighborhood partially collapsed on Sunday.
The Agboye Estate building on Oduntan Street, Ketu, which housed over 800 rooms and hundreds of inhabitants, collapsed on Saturday afternoon after hours of rain fell throughout most of Lagos.
On Sunday afternoon, while occupants were still attempting to recover their things, the building collapsed once more, demolishing another structure within the compound before falling completely.
