Rafiu Opeyemi and Ibikunle Abiodun, two members of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) in Oyo State, were reported deceased over the weekend.

Abiodun passed away on Friday after a battle with illness. He was a member of the NRA in the Akinyele Local Government Area till his passing. Ona Ara Local Government Area NRA member Opeyemi passed away on Saturday in a car accident in Osu, Osun State, on his way back from Abuja, where he had taken part in a national fitness test.
